We are recruiting to our Board of Trustees

The Cyrille Regis Legacy Trust (CRLT) was established in 2019 following the death of the late Cyrille Regis MBE to continue his passion and commitment to community work, particularly among young people. Cyrille held charity work in high regard and was a true example of what it meant to ‘give back’.  

This charity aims to: 

• Develop and support football-based projects.
• Create and support mentoring initiatives which help people from disadvantaged backgrounds to improve their social and economic circumstances.
• Breakdown barriers in our communities.

CRLT empowers young people to take control of and live the best lives they can. Our signature mentoring programme, launched in 2019 is Strike a Change - a unique collaboration led by the Cyrille Regis Legacy Trust and between all six West Midland Football Club Foundations.

We are seeking to expand the skill base of our Trustee Board and will be recruiting 3 new Trustees with specific experience and skills in the following areas:

1. The educational sector with experience across key stages 3, 4 and 5 and have had the responsibility of being a DSL/DSP
2. Strategic finance experience
3. Charity growth and development 

As a Trustee you will:

• Be committed to continuing the legacy of Cyrille and are prepared to be Ambassadors for the values of CRLT.
• Represent the charity as part of your day-to-day life and championing the work of the charity. 
• Attend 4 Board meetings in a year and at least at 1 of our charity events.
• Ideally be based in the West Midlands.
